Looking for a way to get where you need to go? We have you covered! Our accessible service will get you safely to and from your important appointment, meeting, errand, or even your shopping trip.
We offer accessible door-to-door service for all residents of West Hants Regional Municipality, Hantsport and Mount Uniacke for medical appointments, personal errands and business, and social, recreational and educational opportunities.
BoLT drives set routes around West Hants, much like a bus service. Staffed by volunteer drivers using their own reliable personal vehicles, this set route picks up riders and drops them off at pre-determined locations. It’s another way that Dial-a-Ride is helping members of our community get where they need to go.

Have you booked your appointment to be vaccinated, but now need a ride to get there? We can help get you there, and back home. We offer door-to-door rides at reasonable prices.
With our varied vehicles, including accessible options, we can take you to your appointment regardless of your mobility. So if you need transportation, contact us today.
Booking a ride, in 3 easy steps:
- Pre-book your vaccination appointment according to the directions given by the Department of Health.
- Go to our “How to Book” section (just under this section, or under our main menu). You’ll find our ride booking process there.
- Follow our directions on how to book your trip.
(Please note: Round trip cost is only $5. We require booking at least 24 hours in advance.)

We have implemented COVID-19 protocols and procedures to protect everyone’s health and safety. Please ask us at the time you book what current policies are in place.
To book a ride please use one of the following methods:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm
Please note we need at least 24 hours advance notice for booking. In the case of a request by email please understand that your trip is not booked until you hear back from us.
Please call 24 hours in advance to book a drive and to discuss rates.
Dial a Ride staff and drivers made it possible for me to be with my mother in the end stages of her life. I was able to stay with her. I did not have a wheelchair accessible vehicle or access to one and dial a ride made it possible for me to travel to be with her. – Susan S
